We pride ourselves on providing professional care assistants who demonstrate a passion to assist older people with a caring and empathetic approach to support them in living full, independent lives. All our care assistants undergo thorough, employment checks along with the undertaking of extensive, ongoing training.
Of course, we provide services to clients in retirement and nursing homes who may require additional attention or personalised long term care. We like to take a collaborative approach alongside nursing homes to ensure the best possible care is provided
If we know that your usual Carer is unable to visit to you on a particular day, we will let you know as soon as possible and arrange for an alternative Care assistant to visit. However, other circumstance may arise such as they can be caught in traffic, so if your Carer does not arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled time, please let us know so we can help.
Our offices are normally open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Aside from this, we operate an out-of-hours service which is manned 24/7. The number for your out of hours service can be provided for your reassurance, with someone at the end of the telephone line to assist with any emergencies about your care.
We offer complimentary access to our check-in service, providing added assurance before and after every visit. The care assistant will document the details of their arrival, activities undertaken and departure. In addition, you are asked to regularly offer feedback and rate your satisfaction directly to Raisso House head office.
We are not able to give injections or change sterile dressings. Also, we cannot carry out tasks which are likely to cause risk to either the person we provide care to or your care assistant. Tasks will be agreed with you in advance. Any changes to the plan can be discussed with your Raisso House Assessment team.
We understand that care needs can often change therefore, we understand that care plans may need reviewing from time to time. This is why we carry out reviews on a regular basis and are more than happy to discuss amendments in-between.
We are registered and regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) who also set the minimum standards by which we operate, although we seek to exceed these minimum standards. We are also have Public Liability insurance (£10million) and ensure we only employ and work with qualified and competent care assistants.
Every member of the Raisso House team has been through a rigorous vetting procedure before they start working with us. In addition, all care assistants are experienced and expected be in uniform and carry a personalised identification card which shows their name, photograph and signature.
If you had to be admitted to hospital or were advised that respite for a short time would be beneficial to you, we would need to be notified as soon as possible. We would cancel your visits for that duration and then upon your return home discuss with you how you would like to use the hours you have paid for but not used.
Just let us know in line with our agreed notice periods.

If you are happy with your care package, we will introduce you to your career so you can spend some time getting to know each other. Once you are happy with your care package and care professional, your service will begin, and you will have the option of keeping in touch via our Care Track service.

The price depends entirely on the service you require. Our prices are competitive yet reflect the high-quality service provided. Before committing to any service, you will be given a full price breakdown for the personalised care required.
Homecare services aren’t usually free. However, you may be entitled to assistance with the cost of your care either from your local Social Services office or via other Government grants.
